I have used MLF as sort of a crowd-sourced Wiki. Viewing the plain database was painful, so this will greatly help. I haven't bothered creating an algorithm for hierarchical view, it will generate pages in chronological order like this:

I don't remember where they talked about dasgelbeforum optimizations but I think they worked on the search feature. An unreleased feature I coded for myself is a "who has read this post already" feature.
