The ability to "Favourite" and "Unfavourite" each individual post. Maybe have a small favourite icon near the "Post reply" text in every post. And have a Favourites link in the top text menu that takes you to a page with your favourite posts listed.

What do you call "favourite" and "unfavourite"? Is it a bookmark funktion to relocate entries (where "unfavourite" makes no sense) or is it a rating ("like" and "unlike")? Both is in principle possible. Both would be very different functions.

You can even use this feature as a kind of subscribe feature.

That's a different idea. If I subscribed a thread or a special entry I expect to be informed in case of answers. This would be a more sophisticated successor of the current funktion to get informed about answers to your own entries.

A mark of an entry as favourite is –as I described it in my first paragraph– like a bookmark. A bookmark helps me to relocate the entry. Or it is a mark of liking an unliking, a rating mechanism.
