What image you are talking about? The quotation mark at the begin of a cite? The "new" you have uploaded?

If you have a new reply!

There is no picture like your "NEW" in the default template. Do you use a custom style of MLF? Do you use the last version 2.3.3 of MLF?

The arrow-symbol is located in the bg_sprite_1.png-file

Micha

Hi Dirk,

Yes, I use the last version 2.3.3 of MLF

and a custom template? Anyway, you can change the image by editing the bg_sprite_1.png-file.

Hi,

I assume that my image must have the same name?

The name of the image must be the same as in the CSS file. The new replies get the CSS class replynew e.g.

<a class="replynew read" href="index.php?id=8098">change the picture for a reply</a>

The corresponding CSS reads for the image

a.replynew, a.replynew:link {
background: url(images/bg_sprite_1.png) no-repeat 0 -398px;
}

Thus, you can only change the image uri in the CSS:

a.replynew, a.replynew:link {
background: url(images/my_new_image.png) no-repeat;
}

In this case, no further modifications are necessary.

Hi Milo,

Apologies, but I'm not a php expert.
That's the reason I do not know where I can find the ccs file. :confused:

Hi Dirk,

Apologies, but I'm not a php expert.

You don't need any knowledge in PHP. CSS is style sheet language.

I do not know where I can find the ccs file.

It is located at: /themes/default/, if you use the default template.

Please note: To reduce bandwidth, MLF use the - hard to read - style.min.css. A user friendly (uncompressed) version is given by style.css. If you edit the style.css, you have to modify the main.tpl in line #12, too.

I can not found this one:

<a class="replynew read" href="index.php?id=8098">change the picture for a reply</a>

You can not find it because you read it before (it's not new anymore). At that point the class changes from replynew to reply.
