Couple of Questions (General)

Hi,

Thanks for creating this software - installation was smooth but, I have a couple of questions.

1) Is it possible to alter the 'new topic' page to allow me to have an additional box that allows the logged in user to spcify a different name that they wish to post as for just that post? For instance, when I create a new post, or reply to an existing one sometimes I would like to appear as a different username. The different username does not need to be a registered name, I just want the ability to be able to post as different names at different tiems without having to register additional accounts.

2) Personal Messages - is this implemented anywhere?

Thanks!

Sockpuppetry?

Dear zootee!

Do I get you right: You are asking for a method to create a sockpuppet? Are you aware that SPs are disliked in the community?

Sockpuppetry?

No, I want to have the following functionality:

I post a message logged on as Zootee, but, for a specific post I may want to post as a non-registered username, but, the difference is that I would also want my registered username to appear as well. For instance:

Mr. Z (Registered User:Zootee)

should appear as the poster so that people are under no illusion that it is me doing hte posting but, I can adopt a pseudonym just for that post. The name used cannot already belong to a registered user.

Sorry, it's quite a complex request :)

Couple of Questions

Hello

2) Personal Messages - is this implemented anywhere?

It is implemented by sending an email to the specified user via form. The message will not be stored on the server.

Tschö, Auge
