can i upgrade 2.1 BETA without delete the old msg? (General)

in fact, i just want to add the function of adding flash video to my forum
can i just adjust some document in old version?
my version now is ""2.0 RC 6""

if not, then how can i do upgrade without delete the old msg?

Hi Pearly,

you can update using the update file update_2.x-2.1.php shipped with version 2.1 beta 6. But note that it's a beta version.
