I downloaded your script for displaying the latest postings on a sperate website:

Being lacking coding skills I have some problems implementing it pursuant to my wishes.

Is it possible, to implement this view instead of the normal thread-structured layout and link it in the top navigation line next to the forum index-link, so that one can switch between the standard view and the list of latest postings?
The forum layout, including title, user menu, navigation line and the hole bottom stuff should be visible in this view contrary to the current look (as visible beyond the link above).

Im trying to make the forum layout similar to the parsimony-forums, where our community was posting for several years:
http://f16.parsimony.net/forum26001/index.htm (=> recent messages)

If this is not possible, I want to place a sidebar on the forum index page just the way, you have it in this forum.

Can I also display the name of the poster and the posting-time on the right next to the title of the message?
