Quote Symbol not on the same line as the Quoted Text (General)

by Magma, Saturday, May 13, 2017, 18:15 (2539 days ago)

I've noticed since using MLF when quoting, sometimes the quoted text is not on the same line as the quote symbol (like in the image below, "Das Ware" is a line below the quote symbol)

It seems to happen when you quote 2 or more people and 1 of the 2 or more people has written more than one line of text.

Any way to fix this or make it so the quoted text is always on the same line as the quote symbol?

Quote Symbol not on the same line as the Quoted Text

Hi,

it is not a bug. The sequence is:

 > > isHTTPSProtocol() true oder false und
 >
 > Das wäre mein Vorschlag.

Due to the "empty" line (start with >), the quote starts with new line:

<blockquote><blockquote><p>isHTTPSProtocol() true oder false und</p>
</blockquote></blockquote><blockquote><p><br />
Das wäre mein Vorschlag.</p>
</blockquote>

Thus, it is not a bug, it is the true citation.

/Micha
