I set up the forum but could not get the e-mail services to work. Can't register, I forgot my password part doesn't work. There is a problem with emails!

I set up the forum but could not get the e-mail services to work.

A few questions about the situation in advance. What is the PHP-version? Did you switch to PHPMailer for sending e-mails or didn't you change anything?
