Ich hatte von einigen Monaten ein Konzept für Verbesserungen der Benachrichtigungsfunktion über neue Releases vorgestellt. Teil dessen war die Übertragung des Projekt -Repositories auf Github an eine Organisation, damit aktive Teilnehmer Administrationszugriff auf das Repository bekommen. Alex ist ja seit ein paar Jahren aus der Entwicklung ausgeschieden und nur noch in Krisensituationen auf Anfrage involviert.

Gestern kam eine Antwort von Alex auf meine (auch erst Ende Dezember 2022 gestellte) Anfrage bezüglich meiner gewünschten Änderungen. Er ist bereit, das Repository und auch die hiesige Domain an mich zu übergeben. Jetzt geht es aber erst einmal nur um das Repository.

Ich habe auf Github eine Organisation namens My Little Forum angelegt und etwas herumexperimentiert. Ich habe Micha und Alex zum Beitritt zur Orga eingeladen und zu Testzwecken ein erstes Repo aus meinem Account an die Orga übertragen (bei dem ich noch nicht einmal weiß, ob das Skript (noch) funktioniert).

A few moths ago I presented a concept for improvements to the notification function about new releases. Part of this was to transfer the repository on Github to an organisation so that active participants could have administrative access to the repository. Alex has been out of development for a few years now and is only involved in crisis situations on request.

Yesterday I received an answer from Alex to my request (made at the end of December 2022) regarding my desired changes. He is willing to hand over the repository and the local domain to me. For now, however, it's only about the repository.

I created an organisation on Github called My Little Forum and experimented a bit. I invited Micha and Alex to join the organisation and transferred a first repository from my account to the organisation for testing purposes (where I don't even know if the script works (yet)).
