When I open a post the default view is the Hierarchical mode of coure and I was wondering if there is a way to set the Thread Mode as default. Someone can help me?

(I hope that I understood your question).

When you enter the forum first time, you'll see in the menu bar:

| Refresh | Order | Fold threads | Table view |

Once you click on Table view your forum will work in Thread Mode. Till the end of times.

Otherwise you need to change a line or two in the PHP files (to set the default to 1 rather than 0). But again, one click on Table view will set eternity to Thread Mode. I assume.

BTW, I assume that Table view takes much more bandwidth then default view mode.
