I was thinking about having a moderator but the forum lets the moderator
permanently delete post.

I was thinking, if there happens to be a falling out the moderator can delete
years of post and potentially destroy many years of history.

Is there a way to allow the moderator to delete bad post but to save the post
for the final decision of the forum owner or administration, this way if the moderator has the intent to destroy the forum it can be undone.
