Setting "Operating Status" (Betriebsstatus) to switch on/off the forum doesn't work in my installation (status is always on).

I tested it immediately with an installation of 2.4.2 and one with version 2.4.3. I can disable and reenable both forums.

Bug before or behind the monitor?

I don't know but what should one doing the wrong way by (de)-activating a checkbox and clicking a button? Please execute the following query in phpMyAdmin or a similar tool. Report the output here.

SELECT forum_enabled FROM [your_settings_table_name]
