Table row collapse on front page (my little forum)

On my own My Little Forum installation, and on this forum, I have noticed that all the table rows are expanded if the text in one cell is too large.

Examples:
I don't want the frontpage to look like this:



This is how I want it to appear:



Can I fix this in the css? The best solution would be if only the row that contains the cell that is too large is expanded, while the others keep the "normal" size.

Any advice folks?
