mlf looks like just what I want. I have installed it locally and tried the default and web_2.0 themes, but in either case the Latest Postings box appears underneath the main topics section, not on the right hand side as it is in this forum. Can anyone tell me how to make the box appear on the right hand side?

Admin area -> Forum settings -> Latest postings -> enter a number > 0
