I see that the BBCode is created by preg replace( scripts. I need to post vocabulary lists in my forums for example English word = French word. This would look better as a table. Is there a preg replace( script that I can add to the functions.php file that will allow the <table> <th> <tr> <td> etc. tags to work in a post? Does anyone have an alternative suggestion for creating the "look" of a table in a post?

Thanks for any suggestions. FYI, I figured out the code for adding a Youtube video to a post. I am using version 1.*, so the info is in the older forum.
