Problem with email redirection link (General)

by Littob, Friday, January 23, 2009, 13:43 (5565 days ago)

Hello,

i've got a problem i wasn't able to solve jet.

The post-notification link (that is send to any user), looks like this:
http://url.de/forum/index.php?id=87
That looks good.

If the user is logged in, he will be redirected by clicking on this link to the posting.
BUT if the user isn't logged in, he comes to the login-form and afterwards the link looks like this:
http://url.de/forum/index.php&id=87&back=entry
This link leads to nowhere, because of the "&" that should be a "?".

Can anybody tell me how to fix this problem?

THANKS and REGADS!

Hi Littob,

which version do you use? I think this bug was already fixed in version 2.0 RC 6 (see here).

Hi Alex,
I really still have the version 2.0 RC 5

So, witch is the best way to update the system?
In the forum are lots of entries. I a bit worry about loosing these...

Thanks a lot!!!

OH NO!

Meanwhile i tried to update MLF from 2.0 RC 5 to the current version 2.0.1.

I put the new update files in the update-directory on the server and started the update process. First i got the message that i have to update from "2.0" to "2.0.1", but i fixed that problem by editing the "update_2.0_-2.0.1.php" on line 18 to "2.0 RC 5".

Than the update-process runs without any problems (as far as i see version 2.0.1 is installed).
BUT: the problem with the email-link is still there!

What else can i do?

Thanks and Regards!

I fixed the problem by displacing the old "include"-directory by the new one.

I don't understand these update-function... but now everything works fine.

BTW. The update-script tells me to upload the file "templates/default/register.tpl.inc". Unfortunately this file doesn't exist. :-|
