I'm trying to Test MyLittleForum on a local XAMPP Server with Out-Of-the-Box Konfiguration. I'm using a Win XP-PC.

When using UserID and Password (new User, new Database) I get a message that the MySQL-Client does not support requested Authentication-Method (I think SSL is missing). On the other hand I can't use root without Password because I get the error that some fields are empty.

What is the best method to Install my Little Forum on a local Xampp? Has Anybody done that?
