Problem with MySQL version (General)

Forum dont work if MySQL version 3.23! I found this after some research.
Not only what said Done here http://mylittleforum.net/forum/index.php?id=180
but also other things. Base dont work.
In another hand I cannot change MySQL version because in my site other parts all done with this version. Also it need some work with my hoster.
So what I can do?

To install my little forum you need a webserver with PHP >= 4.2 and MySQL >= 4.1.

Change the hoster. :cool:

Seriously, even if you find someone who tweaks the scripts running on 3.23, I don't think that's a good idea. You will run into both performance & security issues. The last version of MySQL 3.x (3.23.58) came out in 09/2003 and is unsupported since 07/2006...
