Can someone help ? I am using version 1.7 and the views counter is not showing up anywhere on the board, I did turned it ON when I set up the forum. Any ideas ?

The Views counter is only available in Mix- and Board-View.
It's working fine in your installation as well (just select Board-View in the header).
