My understanding is that MLF does use Smarty caching. However, does anyone know any specifics about it? Such as:

• Is caching enabled for everything?
  
• How long are they cached?
  
• Is the cache refreshed for the page when a user posts?
  
• In what other instances is the cache refreshed?
