as tags can be specified anyway for each posting (by mods and admins) a tag cloud isn't a big thing anymore. Whether it makes sense or not is another question (will be an option of course).

Just my personal opinions:
Pros: fashionable, but also valuable overview of 'important' tags
Cons: if set only by admins/mods this may result in some 'workload' for these guys...
